Practical Challenges in Human Factors of Security and Privacy
Montags, 10 c.t. - 12
This course explores current security and privacy challenges with a focus on human and societal aspects. Students choose a semester topic—e.g., surveillance, anonymity, online abuse—and learn to design, conduct, and evaluate user studies to investigate it. Early lectures provide context and key methods in human factors research. Students work closely with the lecturer to explore their topic in depth. Active engagement beyond class is encouraged, as topics can be complex and evolving.
