Research Interests

I started my Phd in the Behavioral Security and Privacy (BeSec) research group lead by Prof. Dr. Matthew Smith in January 2021. For some time before that, I have been intrigued by the challenges of addressing both usability and security & privacy and investigating human behavior in this scope. As such I am interested in topics at the intersection of usability, privacy, security and human (information) behavior. My main focus lies on investigating how different research methods can be applied in this domain.

Current Projects

- Facilitating power analysis (sample size calculations) for researchers in usable security and privacy
- Investigating researchers' use of effect sizes
- Examining software developers' folk models of software security
